BSG - 'Escape Velocity'
I liked this one. Could have used more Starbuck and/or Viper space battles, but couldn't everything?

We're not going to talk about the fragile body of Gaius frackin' Baltar )

Little sister, the fates are calling on you.
Incoherent and random reactions to last night's The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

"Vick's Chip" (1.08)
Remember to kick it over No one will guide you - armagideon time )

"What He Beheld" (1.09)
There's a man going around taking names and he decides Who to free and who to blame )

Rewatching ASAP.

Please renew, Fox! Break the vicious cycle!

condition - good!

I <3 a Robot Apocalypse
Binged on the first five episodes of The Sarah Connor Chronicles last night. Sometimes insomnia gives back.

General impressions?

I loved it. Loved the plot, loved John and Cameron and snarky Agent Ellison. I really loved Sarah and her Future is a Mother thing she's got going on. The little nods to the movies were a nice touch and happily not applied with too large a shovel. Action scenes made me jump. And the special effects were not too shabby either.

It has my favorite trope, the organic life (Humanity) vs. invented life (Replicant/Wintermute/Cylon) right to exist battle. I love a fed-up artificial lifeform story.

This terminator-verse seems ripe for some great plot-pickings. The dynamics between the Connor trio have all sorts of niches to explore. John's struggle with the Big Plate of Destiny he's been handed. Ellison's investigation looks to be taking him down a Mulderish career path. The T-SomethingElse model(s?) evolving into ally, foe or adversary of both sides?

So. Hooked.

Please don't cancel, Fox. You have an unfortunate history with sci-fi shows.

condition - new show!

On a non-MLB note - BSG
Ellen Tigh made me cry like a bitch last night. )

In other news, the replacement for my long-lost 1980's Game Day Lou Whitaker #1 jersey came today. But I'll be changing into my current #28 come game time.

Because Curtis G. is my New Millennium Tiger.
