Really should have called in sick.

Opening Day glee is dampened a little bit, what with Curtis Granderson on the DL for at least 3 weeks with a broken finger. Thankfully, the injury isn't more serious than it could have been.

It's just not the same when your Tiger can't play.

Heal up quick & thoroughly, Grandy. Nobody gets on base quite like you do. And you have all those marriage proposals to deal with.

(And WTF bleacher seats going for $50? So happy they were $7 back when - never would have seen a game played live otherwise. Does Comerica have 24k bleachers, or something?)

Baseball is *finally* back! Wearin' the jersey, got the Lucky Hat, waiting for MLB.com to start streaming the game. Sure, I'll be at work, but at least I didn't call in with the traditional case of Tiger Fever.

And living out of state, I'm not subject to gameday blackouts [I hope]. Not nearly as cool as being there live, but ... bright side.

I like the lineup a lot, looks like it could be a powerhouse if Detroit gets their hitting groove on. Bonderman is a good choice today - so much talent. Stoked that we've got Guillen for another four years - He's such a solid player.
